To my mind, this is a spa hotel so I'm not sure why they call it a B&B. I guess it's because the restaurant is 50 metres up the road, so not physically connected to the hotel. In any event, it's wonderful. Parcines is a small village; very quiet and peaceful place to stay. The sauna and steamroom are large and modern with an even bigger relaxation area. There are two pools (one large, one small); the large one is long but not deep and filled with salted water so makes for an excellent lap pool...
We stayed at Mair am Ort for two nights and had an great experience. Very friendly staff and dog friendly hotel. Our room was really nice, modern style and very nice interior. We had sun beds on grass just outside, overlooking the mountains around Merano.
A lot of cool design details spread out inside and outside. Nice and quiet garden with two pools and several sun beds and cosy chairs. The breakfast was good. Great location and short walking distance to both local restaurants and the ride up the mountain, Texelbahn, that will take you up to the start of numerous walking paths.
I can definitely recommend this place!
